About Samantha

I’m a University of California, Los Angeles graduate with a background in psychology, academic research and sports journalism. Both my academic and professional work has centered on understanding people and their motivations, whether it be researching how technology and artificial intelligence can support inclusion in K–12 schools or analyzing audience behavior and emerging trends to understand what resonates most with readers.

As a student researcher with the Center for Mental Health in Schools, I contributed to research examining how artificial intelligence and technology could enhance the implementation of inclusion policies in K–12 education. This experience ignited my passion for research and taught me how to collect and analyze data, conduct interviews with research participants and communicate complex findings into clear insights for an audience.

I have also spent three years working in sports journalism. Beyond writing and editing, I analyzed trends, monitored content performance and used audience behavior to help determine which topics and stories would be most engaging.

I’m now interested in applying these skills and experiences to market research and psychological research.
